What started through years of collecting records and chasing great music evolved into a project rooted in both preservation and discovery, celebrating foundational sounds while spotlighting the artists carrying that legacy forward today.

DJ Randy Watson: A defining presence in Los Angeles’ funk and boogie circuit, DJ Randy Watson has been a core resident of Dām-Funk’s legendary Funkmosphere for over a decade. A master selector of rare vinyl, he’s known for high-energy, deeply curated sets that have moved dance floors from LA to the East Coast.

Kung Fu Chris: Known for his deep-rooted passion for music, thoughtful selections, and an instinctive feel for the crowd. From getting his start in San Francisco’s late-90s nightlife scene, his career has included residencies in New Orleans and performances everywhere from New York City to Austin and Washington, D.C.
